I stumbled across this post, and it really resonated with me. We live in a world where endless information is literally at our fingertips, we can video chat live with people across the globe, and we can instantly track the number of people who "like" what we say.
In this world of trending topics "blowing up our Twitter/Newsfeed" (seriously, no one would have understood that sentence a few years ago!) -- have we lost sight of the goal? Do we pursue Christ or Likes? It is likely not a conscious decision, but if we are not careful, it can become all to easy to reduce the love of God to the same realm as these trivialities.
Let's all pray for and help one another so that we can clearly recognize that Christ is the only one who can fulfill the longing of our hearts!
